We are who we are, no? The fashionista in me is always showing up in one way or another in my art. It’s a joy to work with my clients and assist in the wardrobe selection process. Like I said before, that image consultant background comes in handy every single time.
This time around, we’re starting the new year off with a traditional black and white palette. This color scheme is so crisp, classic, and smart in the fashion world: home or apparel. The goal here was to play with texture while bringing a Hollywood glam for the gawds. So, let’s talk about the look.
We selected the Natori faux leather apron dress from our favorite closet: Rent The Runway. We paired this luxe dress with accessories from the client. The cream coat and black boots were from her fashion-conscious grandmother. The wide brim floppy hat and gloves are from the G Photography client closet. We love to add the necessary punch to any outfit.
Now, where is the best place to be a city about town? How about downtown Houston? Yeah, that works. This urban playground gave us everything we needed to bring this entire look together. We partnered with one of my favorite make-up artists, Brandi of The Bee Effect, and you have the stunning images below. If you’re ready for a fashion-forward inspired photo session, let’s get together and create something: book a session.
