Ms. Jones came to me to create a collection of images for her model portfolio. First of all, we can't believe she's not already a model. Oh well.
DJ was focused on a few base shots to be used across the board. We knew we needed a few pictures of just her face as well as her overall physique. She has the most amazing hair, so we collected a few pictures with the hair out of her face (spotlighting the face), and then we really wanted her to let her hair down.
This was a studio session held at Studio Space Arlington, but we also took to the Arlington streets for a few casual images. We decided on the white background for the beauty images. We didn't want to fight with other colors, and the white background worked well for her skin. To add some flair and finesse, we opted for a red on red color palette. Red is fire and energy, and DJ brought the energy. We ended the session outside. This was late winter, so the temperatures required outerwear. The best part about the outdoor images is that we had the street to ourselves, so we weren't concerned about cars or foot traffic. Everything worked in our favor.
