There was a time in my life I honestly considered being active in politics. I was determined to be a powerful vehicle for the people. Now, I didn’t follow that path, but I’m still an influential person. Why am I rambling about all of this? I’m setting the stage for this story about Faith G. of Sunset High school, a beyond super senior who participated in the G Photography contest.
So, where do we start? Faith served as the Senior Class Vice President and also mentored underclassmen through a program called B3. If that wasn’t enough, she was also the drill team manager, soccer manager, participated in AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination), participated in Co-op, short for cooperative education, AND was a member of the National Honor Society. Whew!
Oh, then there’s Junior State of America. JSA is an American non-partisan youth organization focusing on helping high school students acquire leadership skills and the knowledge necessary to be effective debaters and civic participants. Faith served as the secretary for her chapter of JSA. More importantly, she was the first student to be the first CIA agent at Sunset High School for Junior States of America. The future is very bright for this young lady.
Faith will be attending Midwestern State University to major in nursing and minor in psychology to become a pediatric nurse. G Photography wishes her all the best, and we are super excited to share a few of her images from her cap and gown session.
