Is there no place like home? Maybe, if you don't have two homes. New York City is very much my home as Houston is. I became the person I am today while living in NYC and I wouldn't trade that experience for anything in the world.
I decided a year in advance I wanted to bring in my 40th year in Times Square (after I specifically said I would never do Times Square again...never say never). I love NYC in the winter: the fashion, the food, and the atmosphere. Free of snow I snapped scenes fit for the snazziest of NYC homes.
